Works for Women in Strengthening Local Wisdom-Based Knowledge

ASWGI is an association from several number of Centers for Women/Gender and Children Studies in Indonesia. ASWGI currently have members120 institution from PSW / PSGA starts from universities , companies with more than 500 active teacher and researcher members in universities. In 2019 , ASWGI published SALASTIKA , an Scientific Journal of Women / Gender Studies.

Salasika is etymologically derived from Javanese language meaning ‘brave woman’

Salasika is inspired by the need to put into visibility the Indonesian and South East Asian women to ensure dissemination of knowledge to a wider general audience. Salasika selects at least several outstanding articles by scholars in the early stages of a career in academic research for each issue, thereby providing support for new voices and emerging scholars.
