Gender and Social Inclusion
Gender equality refers to equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities between women and men. The highly visible inequalities between women and men in both leadership and decision-making positions in public and private institutions can violate the rights of equal access to public services, equality and non-discrimination. This situation shows and illustrates to us how business activities can create or make it worst in gender inequality.
Gender equality is not only important in terms of morality, justice, but also very important and relevant from an economic point of view. Social inclusion is a condition where all individuals or community groups can participate in education, economic activity. Social inclusion in principally related to the fulfillment of human rights that have been recognized by the international community and also by the Indonesian government.
