Expert Talk : IMPLEMENTATION OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE POLY INNOVATION DURING PANDEMI

Based on community needs and government’s support, in the Expert Talk “IMPLEMENTATION OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE POLY INNOVATION DURING PANDEMI” Mrs. Maya Septriana, S.Si., Apt., M.Si. the head of the D4 Study Program in Traditional Medicine, Universitas Airlangga said that Universitas Airlangga formed a D3 and D4 study program in Traditional Medicine, Faculty of Vocations which was called Battra.

 

This potential of traditional medicine also supported by the Provesi Persatuan Pengobatan Tradisional Indonesia (PPTI). According to Alifati Tofinashri, A.Md. chairman of PPTI, the needs for traditional healers is increasing, especially during this pandemic. it’s because traditional medicine practices are easy and cheap and can be done anywhere.

 

By the potential of traditional healers, Airlangga Hospital became the pioneer as an educational hospital that has a traditional clinic.
According to dr. Ario Imandiri, Sp.Ak. (Head of traditional healer poly installation) RSUA’s Poly Battra is designed more comfortable to give an atmosphere like home.
